Who we are
Corvus Systems builds custom apps and automation for businesses in South Africa. This notice explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and what your rights are under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect
- When you email us: your name, email address, company and anything you choose to write in your message.
- When you visit the site: we may count visits using cookie-free statistics (pages viewed, rough country and type of device). These don't identify you and aren't used to follow you around the internet.
This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. The fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your device's IP address when the page loads, as it does on most websites.
Why we use it
- To reply to you and set up a conversation.
- To understand your business so we can scope and quote a project.
- To keep a record of what we discussed and agreed.
We don't sell your information, and we won't add you to a mailing list without asking first.
Who else sees it
Only the services we need to run the business, such as our email provider and website host, and only so they can provide that service. Some of these providers store data outside South Africa. We only use providers that protect personal information to a standard similar to POPIA.
How long we keep it
We keep your emails for as long as we're talking or working together. If a project doesn't go ahead, we delete your details within 12 months unless you ask us to keep in touch.
How we protect it
Your information is kept in password-protected accounts with two-step sign-in, and only we can access it.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what information we hold about you,
- correct it or delete it,
- stop using it.
Just email hello@corvussystems.co.za. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator.
Changes
If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
